I am indeed back from my short vacation to Montreal. I had a great time except that my Mazda was giving me a hard time. Being not so good with cars, I had no idea what it was and I was even more terrified because I did not have AAA support, have no French language skills, and did not want to get stuck in Canada trying to find someone to fix it. Good news is that I arrived home safe and sound but the car died the next morning - just won’s start.
Guess what? The problem was a dead battery that the AAA guy who came to tow my car diagnosed in less than 10 seconds. With only $120, my car is back in shape. What an idiot I was to worry all that much!

0 Comments Our short vacations 08.04.06 (11:25 am) [edit] Well, I had my vacation after a long time and enjoyed every minute of it. It is, however, no secret that we are not taking enough vacation days unilike our President who vacations longer than he works. In a small change this year, instead of a full month, he will only vacation for 10 days. I guess it is nice to have a job without a boss.

An excellent article talks about the whole issue of curvaceous women, how sexy they are, and how men love them. There is talk of large breasts and bigger butts but according to the Australian plastic surgeon Ian Holten it is because women are getting fatter. I know this from personal experience that the number of women that I have met who have a large chest (natural) but are slim is probably five.
Dr Holten is actually now performing more breast reduction procedures than breast augmentation surgeries. In other words, eat right, stay healthy, and if you still want bigger breasts, get a boob job.
Mr Holten was sharing his views about the celebration of Breast Pride Week.

For us men, it is hard to appreciate acne, until I read the interview of Mary J. Blige in OK! She was asked about her beauty indulgence, and her response was that just not having acne was a pleasure. She says that she has controlled her acne by drinking water and help from the dermatologist. I guess she is referring to Accutane. “But then you get those PMS issues and you break out!” she joked. Ouch!

According to Johns Hopkins scientist, a pill combining chemicals in turmeric and onions reduces both the size and number of precancerous lesions in the human intestinal tract. What does the pill contain? Chemicals found in turmeric, a spice used in curries, and squercetin, an antioxidant found in onions. Hey I will stick to more curry, instead of a pill.

With the recent mess with the Google index, some other crazy stuff is happening. While not a big deal, for a while during the June to July 27 period, BeautyNova article on Juvederm was on page one. Now it is nowhere to be found. How ridiculous is that? Oh, Google!
Overall, we are very happy with the update. The results look so much fair.
