Apocalypto, a violent movie 09.27.06 (5:32 pm) [edit] Apocalypto, a movie made by Mel Gibson, is set to release in December but from what I hear about the violence, it is so sickening (one critic said that in comparison “The Passion of the Christ” would seem like a kid’s movie) that it is not recommended for the most of us. We all know that even celebrities get fat and the major reason is the same for them as it is for us - eating too much and not burning enough calories. So when Mario Lopez was asked as a contestant in Dancing With The Stars, about where he will have his plastic surgery, his quick answer was that he will get a tummy tuck, “…because the way I eat, I’ll be a fatty.”
Hey Mario, I understand your challenge. I too love those delicious Latin dishes.

Let me highlight a great book: “Sinfully Delicious: The Impact Theatre Cocktail Book.” It features 14 original cocktails, each accompanied by a full-color photo of one of the Impact Pinup Girls. It’s a fundraiser for the company and is available in both print and downloadable formats.
The cocktails in the book, concocted by Impact Theater members, reflect the ethos of the company itself: Impact produces bold new works and reinvented classics, and the recipes are a mixture of original creations as well as variations on established favorites. The drink names are vintage Impact: Money & Rum, a nod to audience favorite “Money & Run”; Rapier, an homage to Impact’s wildly successful action-oriented Shakespeares; Maiden Taiwan; Ho Down; Diana’s Loaded Gun; Slip of the Tongue; and many more that are as enticing to talk about as they are to imbibe.
The company suspects, however, that the real draw of the book will be the retro-style pinup images of the women of Impact Theatre. Tastefully shot by Oakland-based photographer Kevin Berne and mixed with playful backgrounds by Emeryville-based graphic designer Cheshire Dave, the seven gorgeous Impact Pinup Girls command the spotlight with their vintage outfits and seductive poses. I find French women to be beautiful but I was told all along that French women don’t get fat. All because French diet helps you stay slim. Plus, the way the French eat, they eat good but not in excess.
However, in somewhat of a disappointment, I find that one third of French are actually fat (considerable less than two-thirds of us here at home).
My weight loss efforts are going OK - I am not losing any more weight (holding steady at 136 lbs) but I am still exercising 5 times a week and eating healthy. Nothing to complain.

I think Fergie is fabulous. And I did not know this but she has had sexual liaisons with other women in the past. You never know what these Hollywood celebrities are up to. There are rumors that Anglina Jolie may have had a lesbian relationship with Jenny Shimizu.
And who does Fergie want now? Marilyn Manson’s girlfriend Dita von Teese. Me too! She is so good at her burlesque act that I can only imagine how she is in bed.

I love Montreal and try to vacation there at least once a year. This time, I even stayed in the Laval neighborhood - you get to stay away from the tourist neighborhood and hotels. I found that eating at restaurants where real Montreal people eat was better than eating in overcrowded, overpriced places popular among the tourists.
To imagine that some idiot would go on a killing spree is unimaginable. While walking around in Montreal, we saw many Goths and some of them did not look too good. At one point I even felt that they would snatch our belongings since they came too close to us. Another irritation from these folks is that when you wait at a stop light they come and clean (I think it is my job to make sure it is clean on my car) your windshield and then expect tips. So my message to you guys is that I do not find anything wrong with your lifestyle - it is your choice - but leave us alone, all the way to cleaning my windshield to shooting innocent people.

My wonderful friend Tom Cruise has been acting rather weird for a while. No wonder he was fired by Paramount Pictures, not for bad acting but acting strange (though instead of grieving he went to celebrate at Orso Restaurant). In June, I wrote about his wish to eat Katie Holmes’ placenta - thank God, he later said he was just kidding.
Tom Cruise made a fool of himself when he tried to use the argument common among followers of Scientology that depression could not be cured by anti-depressants. He made fun of Brooke Shields too - it is good news now that he has apologized to her.
